Coexistence and Collaboration: Orthodontics beyond Occlusion

Dear colleagues and honorable members,
On behalf of the KAO, I invite you to the 48th Annual Scientific Congress of the Korean Association of Orthodontists. The meeting will be held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center, Gwangju from Oct 29th through Oct 31st, 2015. The main theme of the meeting is 'Today's Question, Tomorrow's Idea: Advancing the Scope of Orthodontics'. The invited speakers are Dr.Roberto Justus (President of World Federation of Orthodontists), Dr. Dieter Drescher (University of Düsseldorf, Germany), and Drs. Lisen Espeland, Arild Stenvik, Kari Birkeland and Vaska Vandevska-Radunovic (University of Oslo, Norway). The symposium has interesting topics to advance the scope of orthodontics. Simultaneous translation will be provided during special lectures, symposium, and special sessions. Additional features such as clinical oral presentations, E-poster presentation, table clinics and excellent case display will also highlight the meeting. Useful information including an electronic registration system will be provided on the website (www.kao.or.kr/eng).
Gwangju is located in the southwest part of the Korean peninsula, attracting many domestic and interational tourists. I hope all participants will enjoy the beautiful scenery and attractions as well as the academic events.
