This presentation will cover skeletal and dental features of skeletal Class III malocclusion.

and a brief review of the treatment options we have used before MIA.

Emergence of MIA changed a lot of treatment mechanics and broaden our ability to treat Skeletal Dysplasia including Class III malocclusion so that it has reduced orthognathic surgery.

I have used it in mandible and maxilla as well for treatment of Non-growing class III malocclusion since it introduced us 2000.

I will discuss the difference between two options : distal retraction of lower dentition aided by MIA in mandible and distal uprighting of lower dentition aided by MIA in maxilla and CIII elastics.
