On behalf of the Korean Association of Orthodontists (KAO), I would like to invite you to the joint conference of the 55th Annual Congress of the KAO and the 13th Asian Pacific Orthodontic Congress(APOC). The meeting will be held at the COEX, Seoul from Oct 28th to Oct 30th, 2022. The main theme of the meeting is "Creating a New Era in Orthodontics."
The invited speakers for the special lectures are Dr. Nikhilesh Vaid, Dr. Young- Gon Kim, Dr. Alfred Griffin, Dr. Sunil Kapila, and Dr. Theodore Eliades. In addition, renowned speakers including Prof. Chung-Ju Hwang and Prof. Kyung-Ho Kim will present at the special sessions.
Simultaneous translation will be provided during special lectures, symposium, and special sessions. In addition, clinical oral presentations, research & clinical presentation, e-poster presentations, and excellent case display will also highlight the meeting.
Information on the meeting and registration will be provided on the website (apoc2022seoul.org).
I hope that all participants will enjoy the attractions in Seoul and beautiful scenery in autumn besides the academic events. I believe that this meeting will be a great opportunity for the academic growth of orthodontists from all over the world.

The Korean Journal of Orthodontics (KJO) is the official journal of the Korean Association of Orthodontists. It was launched in 1970 and was listed in the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) in 2008. It has a 3-year impact factor of 1.372. It is one of the top five orthodontic journals in the world and the only SCIE-listed orthodontic journal in Asia. It is an open-access journal that accepts original research articles, brief reports, and case reports, and provides a forum for readers to ask questions to the authors as well. The KJO is an international journal that encourages foreign researchers and practitioners to submit manuscripts to the journal. In addition, Korean Association of Orthodontists may, at any time: (a) modify, suspend or terminate the operation of or access to your user account for any reason; (b) modify or change Website and Services and any applicable Terms and policies governing your user account and related Website Services for any reason; and (c) interrupt user accounts and related Website Services for any reason, all as Korean Association of Orthodontists deems appropriate in its discretion. the 54th Annual Scientific Congress of the Korean Association of Orthodontists has put in place various physical, electronic and managerial procedures to try to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. For example, private account and customer information is located on a secured server behind a firewall; it is not directly connected to the Internet. Encryption is a process by which a message or information is scrambled while it is in transit to the 54th Annual Scientific Congress of the Korean Association of Orthodontists. It is based on a key that has two different parts, public and private. The public part of the key is distributed to those with whom you want to communicate. The private part is for the recipient's use only. So long as you use a browser that allows for encryption, when you send personal information to us, you use a public key to encrypt your personal information. If your information is intercepted during the transmission, it is scrambled and very difficult to decrypt. Once we receive your encrypted personal information, we use the private part of our key to decode it.
