Dear colleagues and honorable members,

On behalf of the Korean Association of Orthodontists (KAO), I would like to invite you to the conference of the 56th Annual Congress of the KAO. The meeting will be held at the Jeju International Convention Center from Oct 25th to Oct 27th, 2023. The main theme of the meeting is "Goal-driven Excellence - Embracing Orthodontic World." The invited speakers for the special lectures are Dr. Ravindra Nana, Dr. Jae Hyun Park, Dr. Jason Cope, and Dr. Michael Chaffee. In addition, renowned speaker - Prof. Hee-Moon Kyung - will present at the special session. In addition, clinical oral presentations, research & clinical presentation, e-poster presentations, and excellent case display will also highlight the meeting. I hope that all participants will enjoy fine-dining restaurants and beautiful scenery of Jeju Island in autumn besides the academic events. KJO is an international, open access, peer reviewed journal which is published bimonthly in full English language (www.kjo.or.kr). It aims to publish high quality clinical and scientific original research papers in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. KJO is presently indexed in SCOPUS, Google Scholar, PubMed Central, and the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) of the Institute of Scientific Information. The JCR Impact factor for 2020 is 1.372 and 5-Year Impact factor is 1.737, which reflects the reputation that has been built up in the international scientific community. The publication format of KJO includes original research articles, case reports and reader’s forum.
